The two youth ensembles of the Coshocton Community Choir have scheduled auditions in February. Singers in grades four to 12 may audition for the Coshocton Singers and the Coshocton Youth Chorale Monday, Feb. 6 through Wednesday, Feb. 8. Auditions will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1500 Pleasant Valley Drive in Coshocton.
Students in grades nine to 12 are invited to audition for the Coshocton Youth Chorale. Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 5:45-7:15 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Recent Youth Chorales have included singers from Coshocton, Ridgewood, River View, the Coshocton County Career Center, Newcomerstown, and several home schools.
Students in grades four to eight are invited to audition for The Coshocton Singers. The Coshocton Singers will rehearse Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Recent editions of the Coshocton Singers have included singers from Coshocton, Warsaw, Keene, and Conesville elementary schools, Ridgewood Middle School, Sacred Heart School, Newcomerstown Middle School, Coshocton and River View Junior High Schools, and several home schools.
Both ensembles are under the direction of Charles R. Snyder and accompanied by Dickie Barrick.
