Cindy L. Price
Cindy L. Price, a beacon of warmth and generosity, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024.
Born on March 18, 1948, in Coshocton to the late Jack and Marjorie (Blair) Perkins. Cindy’s life journey was one marked by love, creativity, and an unwavering spirit that left an indelible impression on everyone she met.
Cindy was known for her dedication and work ethic. She was a valued employee at Ansell Edmont, Annin Flag Company, Lowes, and Walmart. Her colleagues at each establishment knew they could rely on Cindy not just for her professionalism, but also for her caring nature and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Cindy’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of New Pointe Church in Coshocton, she found strength and community. Her spirituality was a guiding force, and she embraced it with the same passion she brought to all aspects of her life.
Her heart found its match in Jerry Price, whom she married March 20, 1981, their union was blessed with a loving family, including daughters Myra (John) Davis and Rebecca (Rick) Miller both of Coshocton; stepson Courtney Price of Delaware, Ohio; one sister Jackie Carpenter; grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the apples of her eye, Amber (Craig) Summers, Brittany Richard, Sydney, Cohen, and Ethan Price, Justin (Sara) Huntington and Christopher (Shana) Miller; great-grandchildren Gage Gamertsfelder, Carter, and Quinton Summers, Reginald and Archibald Miller, Savannah and Jackson Huntington. Affectionately known as “Munga” by her grandchildren, Cindy’s role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply; her influence will live on in the generations that follow.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John Perkins.
An artist at heart, Cindy found joy in painting, particularly woodcrafts. Her artistic touch brought beauty into the world and into the homes of those she loved. When she wasn’t holding a paintbrush, Cindy could often be found with a book in hand, lost in the pages of a compelling story.
As we bid farewell to Cindy L. Price, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever. Cindy’s journey on this earth has come to a gentle close, but the love she shared and the joy she brought to so many will resonate for eternity.
