2 teens involved in CR 16 accident

On April 5, 2021 at approximately 6:15 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call involving single vehicle rollover on County Road 16 near Lyons Curve.

Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was found that 18-year-old Ashley Stokes of Coshocton was traveling westbound in her 2007 Lincoln and lost control while rounding a curve. Stokes then went off the right side of the roadway, over an embankment and overturned several times before coming to rest on its top in a field.  Stokes and a 17-year-old passenger was transported by Coshocton County EMS to CRMC for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Assisting at the scene was the West Lafayette Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton City Fire Dept., REACT, and Prince’s Wrecker Service
