Six young ladies and three young men competed for the title of 2017 Appalachian Bacon Nation Festival King and Queen along with the best recipe. Hunter Hamilton was awarded the title of king while Rebekah Lillibridge won the best recipe trophy (center). Elle Coffman was announced as the queen. Kraft Foods sponsored a $500 scholarship awarded to the king and queen. The contest was held as part of the Appalachian Bacon Nation 2017 Festival held Saturday, Sept. 2 in downtown Coshocton.
