James H. McIntosh

COSHOCTON – James H. McIntosh, 86 of Coshocton, loving husband of Edna Mae (Worthington) McIntosh, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday July 29th, 2017.

Jim was born on November 20, 1930 and was the son of the late Floyd and Olean (Slaughter) McIntosh. A lifelong resident of Coshocton, Jim graduated from Coshocton High School, Class of 1948.

Jim worked for many years in sales and retired from his last position with Decosky Ford in 2015. Jim also proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, and four grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his son: Mark (Betty Anne) McIntosh; his daughter, Beth McIntosh; six grandchildren, Sarah (Luis) Gayton, Mark McIntosh, Olivia (Stuart) Duhe, Rachel (Omri) Valis, Robert McIntosh, Emily McIntosh; two great-grandchildren, Josie and Evren Duhe. He also leaves his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Zoe Worthington.

There will be a grave side service at­ 1 P.M., Thursday August 3, 2017, for immediate family and friends at South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service at the Free Funeral Home on Thursday.
