Those of us that are in a certain “age range” will recall the original 1956 movie, “Around the World in 80 Days” starring David Niven as the English inventor Phileas Fogg. The film was remade in 2004 and starred Steve Coogan as the inventor. The film was based on the Jules Verne classic 1873 novel […]

Coshocton County is rolling into the New Year

| January 12, 2023

You can choose the wording but regardless of how you want to construct your sentence (I just got chills from thinking about sentence structure in high school) our community is on the move. New construction projects dot the landscape, businesses are opening, expanding, moving to new locations in both the public and private sectors. It […]

Squeezin’ the stuffins out

| December 1, 2022

| September 15, 2022

I know that many of you will agree that a favorite time of year in Coshocton County is the fall season. With one week to go on the calendar before it is “officially” fall, it’s time to recap why I consider fall my favorite time to be in Coshocton County. There is only one not […]

A statistic is a statistic is just a statistic

| August 18, 2022

I dare ya to say that three times real fast – in fact, I double dog dare ya! Yes, I know. That is a breach of etiquette and of course, I know how to spell “you.” I just chose the shorter option. I am referring to the most recent statistics posted on inflation – they […]
