Single vehicle accident occurs on State Route 79

On April 14, 2021, Coshocton County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to a single vehicle accident with injuries on State Route 79 South of Mohawk Village.

When deputies arrived on scene they learned the driver was 46-year-old Warren A. Wilkie of Warsaw. Wilkie drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert and a barn.

Wilkie was transported by EMS to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for injuries he sustained from the accident.

Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene were Walhonding Valley Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS and Princes Wrecker Service.
