State Route 93 accident reported
On April 19, 2021 at approximately 5:09 a.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an injury accident on State Route 93 at the intersection of State Route 541 in Linton Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Shyann McCoy, 23-years-old, of Coshocton was traveling South on State Route 93 when she swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. McCoy then went off the right side of the roadway through the intersection of State Route 541 striking a stop sign, before going over an embankment into the ditch. McCoy was transported by a private party to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for the extent of her injuries.
Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene were the Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Fire Department, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
