All new publication features the best of Coshocton

| April 20, 2021

The Coshocton County Visitors Bureau recently released the all-new 2021 visitor guide. The magazine-sized visitor guide showcases the best of Coshocton County’s attractions, destinations, restaurants, and shops.

The guide will be distributed via travel information centers across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and throughout Amish Country, as well as at local attractions. “We are very fortunate to have received a grant from the Coshocton Foundation for distribution,” said Executive Director Mindy Brems. “It allowed us to maintain this very important promotional tool.”

“The visitor guide is an effective way to introduce potential guests to our community through the beautiful photography and articles,” Brems said. “People will be focusing on traveling by car in 2021, so the distribution of guides at Travel Information Centers is especially important. The bold lettering and cheerful image will easily draw people to the guide.” All the photography is provided by area residents including JeanAnn Dunlap, Kyle Dobbins, Ben Croghan, Jim Williamson, and Mariah McCreery, whose photo appears on the cover.

The guide features many popular outdoor activities, which are in high demand due to the pandemic. “We want people to see our open spaces and beautiful parks,” Brems said. “Historic Roscoe Village offers guests the opportunity to tour, shop, and dine in a wide-spread setting and is close to other popular attractions like Lake Park, Clary Gardens, and the Historic Downtown District. Area lodging, restaurants, shops, wineries and breweries are featured throughout the guide, giving guests more to do while visiting the area, encouraging overnight visits and return trips.”

The 2021 visitor guide was created in partnership with the Coshocton County Beacon and AloNovus. This is a vitally important tool to drive traffic to the Coshocton Visitors Bureau website. “We greatly appreciate the local support we receive each year through the sale of ads, which help to cover the cost of the publication,” Brems said.

The 2021 Visitor Guide may be seen online at visitcoshocton.com, or may be found at Coshocton Supply Co., home of the Coshocton Visitors Bureau office, 432. N. Whitewoman St. in Historic Roscoe Village.

The Coshocton Visitors Bureau works to support Coshocton County’s $58.5 million travel industry through the promotion of tourism experiences, overnight packages, and attractions to encourage tourists to visit, explore, stay, and plan return visits to Coshocton County.
