Paul R. Wilden

Paul R. Wilden, 81, of West Lafayette went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday April 19, 2021.

He was born in Coshocton County on April 1, 1940 to the late Paul B. and Margaret Isabelle (Holdsworth) Wilden.  Paul attended Conesville Schools, worked at Clow Water Systems for ten years and retired from Stone Container after thirty-seven years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette, enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife of sixty years Peggy Wilden whom he married April 1, 1961; three daughters Debbie Wilden of West Lafayette, Becki Wilden of Altamont, IL, and Patti (Steve) Flowers of West Lafayette; grandchildren Trista Laflin, Keith (Brandy) Candeto, Mark (Nicole) Blackson, Karl Blackson, Kyle Blackson and Brittani (Denny) Reynolds; great grandchildren Paige Cognion, Jaden & Hailey Napier, Zaden Bell, Travis Andrews, Brylon Reynolds and Brooklyn Blackson; one brother Edward Wilden of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother Gary Wilden; two sister-in-law’s Georgianna Wilden and Cathy Wilden; one nephew Richard Wilden.

A private family funeral service will be held at The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Mark and Bonnita McCoun officiating.  Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
