Sheriff Office Report for May 12, 2021

On May 11th, the Sheriff Office investigated 1 Accident and 12 Complaints. 

Accident:

  • Bernard Gardner of Coshocton was turning right onto County Road 621 in the 23000 block, when he failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Lynda Bechtol of Franklin Township, causing vehicles to collide. Mr. Bernard was cited for failure to yield and driving under suspension.

Complaints: 

  • Under investigation.
  • Coshocton woman reported her window being broken.
  • An overdose was reported in the 17000 block of State Route 60.
  • An employee from Coshocton Regional Medical Center advised a patient had a firearm on his person and requested a Deputy to come to the ER to secure the firearm.
  • An illegal dump was investigated at the intersection of County Road 406 and Township Road 194.
  • Thomas Sarver of Township Road 118 in Linton Township reported being harassed.
  • Under Investigation.
  • Shelley Ames of Coshocton reported an unemployment scam.
  • Robert Leavengood of Coshocton reported an unemployment scam.
  • Under Investigation.
  • Conesville Family Dollar called to report a theft.
  • Traffic stop.
