Stewart named student of the year

The Coshocton County Career Center announced this year’s recipient of the Outstanding Career Center Student of the Year award during the career passport ceremony on May 20. The 2020-21 award was presented to natural resources student and River View High School graduate Sydney Stewart by Board President Tad Johnson and Superintendent Rick Raach.

Stewart was a student ambassador and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. She is a recipient of the Presidential Academic Award and the CCCC Senior Student Award. She plans to further her education in environmental education at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She also received the Career Center Memorial Scholarship and the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship.
