Chicken dinner and tractor pull planned
The Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department chicken barbecue will be held Saturday, June 19, at Bakersville Community Park, State Route 751. Drive-thru only starting at 4 p.m. Cost is $8. Call 330-897-5293.
The Stoneboat Tractor Pull also will be held at the Bud Hawk Arena. Starting time for the pull is 9 a.m. on June 19. Classes are: 5,500#. 8,500#. 12,500#.
Proceeds will benefit the Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department, Bakersville Community Park and Bakersville Union Cemetery Association.
