Paula J. Cooper
Paula J. “Polly” Cooper, 85, died Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 at Signature Healthcare in Coshocton.
She was born January 27th, 1936 in to the late Perry and Alta (Mencer) Darr.
Polly was a 1956 graduate of Warsaw High School. She was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, mammy, & great grandmother “GiGi”. She was a devout Christian who loved to camp, fish, cook, an avid card player, and loved her ceramics. She was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association of Ohio along with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Cooper Hill, her son, Marc Allen Cooper, granddaughter, Erin Elizabeth Porter, great grandsons, Mason Wesley & Owen Hunter Donley all of Coshocton. Sisters-in-law, Joan Darr of Warsaw and Margaret Darr of Coshocton and many other special friends & relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland “Sonny” Cooper, whom she married April 29th, 1960, he died August 14th, 2017. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Sarah McCombs, Florence Funk, & Donna Hedrick and her brothers, Clarence, Harvey Eugene, Roland, & John Darr.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 17th, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with a service to follow with Pastor Starkey Lawrence officiating. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
