Margaret L. “Peggy” Wilden

Margaret L. “Peggy” Wilden, 80, of West Lafayette went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 17, 2021.

She was born in Coshocton County on September 28, 1940 to the late Russell and Margaret (Hartsock) Shroyer. Peggy retired from Lafayette Pointe Care Center in West Lafayette as a nurse’s aide after 27-and-a-half years. After retirement, she worked at Hopewell Schools as a van driver. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette, loved quilting and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy is survived by her three daughters Debbie Wilden of West Lafayette, Becki Wilden of Altamont, IL, and Patti (Steve) Flowers of West Lafayette; grandchildren Trista Laflin, Keith (Brandy) Candeto, Mark (Nicole) Blackson, Karl Blackson, Kyle Blackson and Brittani (Denny) Reynolds; great grandchildren Paige Cognion, Jaden & Hailey Napier, Zaden Bell, Travis Andrews, Brylon Reynolds and Brooklyn Blackson; siblings Jim (Norma) Shroyer of Fresno, Mary (Junior) Fry of Coshocton and John (Pat) Shroyer of Fresno; brother in law Ed Wilden of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Paul Wilden who passed away on April 19, 2021, they were married for sixty years; one sister Martha Welker; sister-in-law Cathy Wilden and one nephew Richard Wilden.

A private family funeral service will be held at The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Mark and Bonnita McCoun officiating.  Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
