Robert ‘Bob’ Daniel Hawk
Robert “Bob” Daniel Hawk, 77, of West Lafayette, passed away Friday, June 26, 2021, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center in Coshocton. He was born in Bakersville, on March 31, 1944, to the late Albert and Christine (Ott) Hawk.
Bob graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1962 and was a maintenance supervisor at AEP in Conesville for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed golfing, cycling, traveling, painting, archery, and working with his hands.
Bob is survived by his children, Todd (Kristina) Hawk of Zanesville, Angie Hawk of Cincinnati, and Curtis Hawk of Charleston, SC; significant other, Alice Wentz; grandchildren, Carver and Kennedy Cantrell and Tillman and Leila Hawk; siblings, William Hawk, and Gordon (Marilyn) Hawk.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Bergsieker) Hawk, who passed away Oct. 2, 2003; sisters, Doris Harstine and Nancy Choven; and brothers, James Hawk and Russell Hawk.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Cleveland Clinic for taking such exceptional care of Bob over the past six years while he was battling cancer.
Graveside services will be held at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette, on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Matt Anderson officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, immediately following the graveside services.
