MSW Solutions welcomes new clinical social worker

MSW Solutions, LLC announced that ç, MSW, LSW, has joined the counseling and social services practice as an outpatient therapist, serving teens, adults, and couples seeking mental health services. Additionally, Brooks will be facilitating group treatment, specifically focusing on anger management, self-esteem, and social skills.
While completing her social work degree, Brooks has been serving as a transition specialist with the agency’s Family Forward Program since 2018, providing an array of support services designed to enhance relationships and facilitate healthy transitions for families, including family transition/reunification services, mediation, and parent education.
According to Sheila Mayse, Licensed Independent Supervising Social Worker and owner of MSW Solutions, “I am so pleased to introduce Elicia Brooks to the community. She brings an interesting mix of education and experience to this position. She has a Master’s in Criminal Justice, as well as a Master of Social Work. In addition to her social service experience as a mediator, case manager, and transition specialist, her experience in the field of criminal justice also affords her a unique perspective in treating a very specific client population. It is my hope that individuals re-entering the community following incarceration will see her as a particularly valuable resource for mental health support.”
