James E. ‘Jim’ Buckmaster Sr.
James E. “Jim” Buckmaster Sr., 73, of Warsaw, passed away at his daughter’s home on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2021.
He was born in Coshocton on Feb. 28, 1948, to the late Clyde and Betty (Walker) Buckmaster.
Jim retired from Laborer’s Union Local #134 and was a member of the Coshocton Eagles and American Legion.
He is survived by his children, John Buckmaster of Coshocton, Jamie Croston of Zanesville and James Buckmaster Jr. of Coshocton; stepchildren, Timmy W. Cook of Coshocton and Deborah Good of Warsaw; grandchildren, Cara & Amber Good, Erica Cook, Chris Timmons, Tony Rochester, Chad Lousha, and Morris “Hooch” Hopkins Jr., Trevor, Kiana, Piper, Auston, Tyra, Shawnta, Michael, and Josh; seventeen great-grandchildren, including his buddy Tyler, Alexia, & Lincoln; one sister, Pat (Lynn) Powelson of Conesville and several nieces & nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Rosie Mae (Dilly) Buckmaster; siblings Butch, Bud and Bob Buckmaster, Nancy Mercer and Mary Jane Darr.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021 from 11 a.m. to noon where funeral services for Jim will begin at noon with Pastor Wendell Sinclair officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
