Body found in pond
On August 24th 2021, at around 9:01 am, deputies responded to the 6000 block of County Road 9 in Oxford Township in reference to a male subject that was found deceased in a pond. Once on scene, the male subject was removed from the pond and was identified as 31 year old Antonio Cancino out of Mexico. The death appears accidental and further testing will be conducted by the Licking County Coroner’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Fire Department and Coshocton County Coroner’s Office.
