Sally J. Lingo

Sally J. Lingo, 81, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.  She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on June 30, 1940 to the late Marvin and Ruth (Ridenbaugh) Lane.

Sally was a graduate of Coshocton High School in 1958 and was a member of the Central Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, feeding her birds, and she loved her dogs.

Sally is survived by her children, Chris Lingo of West Lafayette, Bret (Beth) Lingo of Coshocton, and Kim (Harvey) Miller of Coshocton; grandchildren, Lindsay (Damian) Almack of Coshocton, Kirsten (Seth) McMahan of Newark, Trace Lingo of Coshocton, and Madison Tyo of Coshocton; great-grandchildren, Ava and Brantlee Almack; siblings, Tim Lane of Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Al G. Lingo who passed away on Feb. 17, 2019. She married Al Sept. 1, 1961.

The family would like to give a special thanks for Janet Frew, Rachael Selders, Cindy Adkins, and their families for their love, compassion, friendship, and care. They would also like to thank Dr. Gwinn and the Community Hospice nurses that cared for Sally.

Per Sally’s wishes a cremation will take place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
