Raymond Russell Goodwill

Raymond Russell Goodwill, 75, of Fresno passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville due to injuries sustained from a car accident.

He was born in Coshocton, on Feb. 10, 1946, to the late Mary Alice (Bicker) Patterson. On July 12, 1969, he married Charlotte (McRoberts) Goodwill, who survives. He retired from Ansell Edmont after 32 years. He worked at NAPA in Coshocton after his retirement. He volunteered his time to Tri-County Ambulance in Newcomerstown, Newcomerstown Fire Department, North Tuscarawas Township Fire Department and Coshocton County EMS. He was a very loving grandfather and loved making jokes with his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Raymond is survived by his children, Travis (April) Goodwill and Denise (Bryant) Lehman; grandchildren, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Tristan, Reid, Courtney, Lydia and Codey; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Beryl Shuck and Pete Patterson; and special friends, Ronnie and Denise Fisher.

Raymond is preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Wilda Bicker and aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Glen Whitis, who raised him.

Per Raymond’s wishes there will be no services at this time and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
