Michael D. Stover
Michael David Stover, 67, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Coshocton to the late Jack and Elizabeth (Mandley) Stover. He was a 1972 graduate of Coshocton High School, and later the University of Florida in Jacksonville with a degree in Arts & Theater.
Mike taught college courses at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, and also the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. He returned to Coshocton in 2018 due to his failing health. He had been a resident of Signature Healthcare of Coshocton for the last 11 months.
He was known for his love of music and acting. He participated in many theater productions at the Coshocton Triple Locks Theater, as well as theaters in Texas and South Dakota.
Mike was an excellent golfer and tennis player. He had a thirst for knowledge and was an avid reader.
He is survived by two sisters, Ann Hartsock and Jennifer (Monte) Fry, both of Coshocton County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer & Beulah Stover and Robert & Alice Mandley, and a brother-in-law, George H. Hartsock, Jr.
