Man dies after fall from tree stand
On Oct. 28, 2021 at approximately 2:22 p.m. the sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to a male subject who fall from a tree stand in the 42000 CR 23 area. Upon arrival of the deputies, it was determined that William Lockerby, 48, of Putney, VT had fallen from his tree stand. The Coshocton County Corner was on scene and pronounced Mr. Lockerby deceased from his injuries he sustained from the fall.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Walhounding Valley Fire Department, Jackson TWP Fire Department and the Coshocton County Corner.
