Willis “Bill” E. Frisch
Willis “Bill” E. Frisch, 93, West Lafayette, passed away at the Oaks in Zanesville Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021. He was born to the late Oscar E. Frisch and Emma Hanna Frisch on July 14, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Bill had the privilege to experience so many unique things in life, from his amazing talent and career as a mechanical engineer at Power Piping, who could create and invent everything imaginable at work and home, to sharing the love of racing cars and traveling with the love of his life, Marion. He had a passion for driving and rebuilding MG cars, restoring classic cars from a young teenager to recently. Nothing stood in his way from working on his cars. Nevertheless, as much as he loved his classic cars, his love for his family squeezed into first place. Bill was so proud of his family, and nothing made him happier than his wife and to visit and talk with his children, grandchildren, other family and friends and share his interesting stories about his adventures in life. He was also proud and talked often of his parents, sisters, nieces and nephews.
No matter where he went, Bill never met a stranger. He intrigued everyone with his vast knowledge about many topics, especially history and cars.
Bill is loved immensely and will be missed by all.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Roger) Art; son, Eric Frisch; granddaughters, Jessica (Troy Bricker) Burt and Jaclyn Frisch; grandsons, Roger Art II, Nickolaus Art and Bradlee Frisch; great-grandsons, Corey and Dylan Burt and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion (Bradfield) Frisch; mother and father; two sisters, Kathleen “Jane” (Robert) Nelson and Beatrice (Martin) Fuls; sister-in-law, Sara (Sally) Jones; brother-in-laws, Jack Jones, William “Bo” Bradfield and David Bradfield; and nephews, David Bradfield Jr. and Kristopher Compton
Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Chris Steele. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service.
