Sharon Marie (Welch) Moore

Sharon Marie (Welch) Moore, 75, of West Lafayette, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. She was born in Newark on August 10, 1946 to the late Clarance and Florence (Welch) Moore.

Sharon graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School and was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was on the bereavement committee and was an elector and reader for the church. She enjoyed sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Michigan Wolverines. She enjoyed playing golf and softball.

Sharon is survived by her sister Karen Moore, and five nieces and nephews; Gary Moore, Dianne (Moore) Wilson, Jackie Moore, Carol (Larry) Sheets, and Tammy (Mark) Lillibridge. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Eddie and Dinty Moore, sister in law Sandy Moore, and nephew Todd Moore.

Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Sunday, November 28 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coshocton on Monday November 29 at 10:30 am with Father Tom Gardner officiating. Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sharon’s name to Community Hospice, 230 S 4th St, Coshocton, OH 43812, or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812.
