Accident reported on US 36

On Dec. 8, 2021, the sheriff’s office received a phone call in reference to an injury accident on US 36 near TR 167 in Lafayette Township.  Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Jennifer Moore, 37 years old, of Newcomerstown, was traveling West on US 36, when she lost control of her vehicle going off the right side of the roadway into a ditch.

Moore was traveling at an unsafe speed for road conditions, as the roadways were covered with snow and ice. Moore was checked out by emergency squad, as she was treated and released on scene.

Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene were the Coshocton County EMS, and the West Lafayette Police Department.
