Helen I. (Theado) Jones

Helen I. (Theado) Jones, 90, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 in West Lafayette, Ohio. She was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio to the late John J. Theado and Marguerite (Michael) Snyder. On June 20, 1950, she married her husband of 60 years, John E. Jones, who preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2011. Helen attended Central High School in Columbus, Ohio. She was employed for many years at the old White Cross Hospital (Riverside Hospital) in the x-ray department, Franklin County Courthouse-Sanitarian Engineer. She was a deputy registrar in Columbus for 15 years.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Richard) Cunningham of Warsaw, Ohio, Jack (Debbie) Jones of Gahanna, Ohio, and Terry (Todd) Shroyer of West Lafayette, Ohio; grandchildren, Scott (Darla) Terrell, John Joseph (Dee) Terrell, Brian (Emily) Jones, Shelly Bennett, Nicole (Jay) Singh, Benjamin (Isabel) Jones, Kevin Cichon, Michael Cichon, and Christina (Jared) Bordenkircher; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Amy, and Jodee Terrell, Harrison, Henry, and Loreli Jones, Kayla and Allison Bennett, Samuel Jennings, Surabhi and Manshu Singh, Anthony Cichon, and Olivia and Samantha Bordenkircher; great-great-granddaughter, Ariella Terrell; step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Ralph) Price, Manuel and Roberto Thaler, Adam Shafer, and Steven and Matthew Shroyer; step-great-granddaughters, Abby, Erin and Sean Price, and step-great-great-grandchildren, Michelle and Irina Thaler; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Anderson of Hilliard, Ohio

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children, David Lee Jones and Sherry L. Jones; and brother, Joseph Perry Theado, infant brother, John Dean Theado.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, from 1-3 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. with Father Tom Gardner officiating. A graveside service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at noon.
