Robert D. Kyle

Robert D. Kyle, 69, of Coshocton passed away at Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville on Saturday January 29, 2022.

Robert was born on October 4, 1952 in Athens, Ohio to the late Dale W. and Rita (Peck) Kyle.

After graduating from Athens High School he served in the United States Navy during Vietnam War. After serving in the Navy he began working at the AEP Conesville Power Plant from 1979-2012 before retiring. Robert was a member of the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle and the Coshocton Gun Club. He enjoyed shooting guns, hunting ground hogs, trap shooting, and was very passionate about reloading.

Robert is survived by his three children, James (Rachel) Kyle, Christina Kyle and Roxanna Vickers; grandchildren Brody, Emma, Damien, Brandon, Matthew, Brenden, Danika, and Ali; great grandchild Braelen; siblings Becky (Tom) Kyle, Richard (Laura) Kyle, and Ron (Cheryl) Kyle; longtime friend Chris Smalley; and best friends Dave and Christy Grudier.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Mae Kyle, who passed away January 10, 2019.

Calling hours will be held at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, 23891 Airport Rd, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Thursday, February 3, 2022 11:00am-1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Jansen officiating.  Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will be performing military honors.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Coshocton Gun Club and/or The American Cancer Society; envelopes will be available at the church.
