Black Bears host TCC

On Jan. 28 the Black Bears hosted TCC in a conference battle for boys bowling. The Black Bears sent the seniors out on a home victory defeating TCC by 383 pins. Leading the way for the black bears was senior Caleb Trull breaking the two game individual record that he had previously set earlier in the year. He shot a 451 series.

On Jan. 29 the Black Bears traveled to New Philadelphia to complete in the TCC baker bash. This was their first time competing in an all baker tournament. After 16 baker games the Black Bears qualified in fourth place. In the stair ladder finals, the Black Bears took on the number three seed Claymont. In a best of five games the Black Bears defeated Claymont in three games to face the second seed and tournament host TCC. The Black Bears suffered the loss in three games and finishing in third place.

The Black Bears are scheduled back in action for their regular season finale as they take on the Dover Tornados on Friday, Feb. 18 at Wabash Lanes.
