Nancy Ann Brown
Nancy Ann Brown went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022. Nancy, a lifelong resident of Coshocton, was born Nov. 8, 1938, to John and Lola (Baker) Fretague and left this world peacefully surrounded by her family.
Nancy’s life was one of service to her family and her community, raising four children while employed at Coshocton County Job and Family Services. In her retirement, she enjoyed reading, genealogy, and spending time with family, classmates and friends but most of all her beloved dog Ellie.
Nancy leaves behind to mourn her passing and celebrate her life four children, Andy (Janie) Brown of Coshocton, Alisa (Tim) Howell of Coshocton, John (Melissa) Brown of Dublin, and Samantha (Joel) Newport of Mason, MI; seven grandchildren, Cody Brown, Katie (Thomas) Scanlon, Britany (Bruce) Uher, Tanner Howell, Garrett Brown, Eryn (David) Sheridan and Madeline Newport; and five great-grandchildren, Julian Scanlon, Evalee and Drake Uher, and Hudson and Sawyer Sheridan.
Proceeding her in death are her parents and sister, Janice Richcreek.
Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Donis Meek officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
