Nancy Kay Cochran

Nancy Kay Cochran, 82, of Conesville, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 22, 1939, in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Ida Hill. She was a graduate of West Lafayette High School. On April 21, 1956, she married Richard D. Cochran, who passed away in 2015. Nancy worked in the home raising their three children. She enjoyed playing music and singing. When outdoors, she spent time fishing and watching the hummingbirds.

Nancy is survived by her children, Aaron (Sharla) Cochran of Frazeysburg, Brenda Rushing of Conesville, and Allen Cochran of Sorrento, FL; grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Cox, Joshua Cochran, Lacey (Chaz) Gustines, Shawna Gross, Justinn (Jarrad) Whitta and Emily Cochran; sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Sara Cochran; as well as dear friends, Rick Troyer and Diane Wiles.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother, Ida; sisters, June, Marge, Audrey, Genny, Delores, Norma; and brother, Raymond.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at 10 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 10:45 a.m. with Pastor Joe Sanders officiating.
