CHS girls claim swim championship

Coshocton High School Swimming competed at the 2022 SEOSL Championship Meet on Feb. 6 at The Ohio University Aquatic Center. The CHS girls are the 2022 South Eastern Ohio Swim League Champions.

Scoring points individually for the CHS girls were: Sophia McFadden, fifth 50 Free (:27.91) and fifth 100 free (1:03.74); Chloe Hall, seventh 50 Free (:29.85) and seventh 100 free (1:07.77); Gabriella Wesney, 10th 50 Free (:30.34) and fourth 100 Fly (1:14.48); Cady Jackson, 11th 50 Free (:30.94) and eighth 100 Back (1:17.97); Kendal Jackson, third 200 Free (2:32.14) and fifth 500 Free (6:51.91); Ella Duling, 12th 500 Free (1:17.60); Autumn Jones, third 100 Back (1:13.48); Courtney Snyder, seventh 100 Back (1:17.60); and Ella Baylor, second 100 Breast (1:22.27).

CHS girls 200 Medley Relay consisting of Autumn Jones, Ella Baylor, Gabriella Wesney, and Sophia McFadden finished second (2:09.90). The 200 Free Relay of Chloe Hall, Autumn Jones, Ella Baylor, Sophia McFadden finished second (1:55.85). The 400 free relay of Chloe Hall, Kendal Jackson, Gabriella Wesney, and Autumn Jones placed first (4:29.79). Also placing fifth in the 400 Free Relay event was Cady Jackson, Ella Duling, Anna Jansen, and Ella Baylor (4:48.74).

Competing individually for the CHS boys were: Connor McCabe, 11th 50 Free (:25.92) and 11th 100 Free (:58.37); Jayden Jones, eighth 100 Breast (1:20.78) and eighth 100 fly (1:05.93).
