Kindergarten registration scheduled for River View
Kindergarten registration has been scheduled for River View Local School District. If you have a child or know of a child who will be five on or before Aug. 1, 2022, call the elementary building where the child will attend to receive a registration packet. You can also go online to the River View Schools website to pre-register your child.
The on-site registration date is Thursday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m. for Conesville, Keene, and Warsaw elementary. Parents only are asked to attend these registration sessions to gather information on preparing their child for kindergarten. Parents will complete the required paperwork and schedule a time for your child to be screened.
This year, a new districtwide approach to screening will occur at the Methodist Church in Canal Lewisville on Thursday, April 28, and Friday, April 29. You must bring along the child’s certified birth certificate, immunization records, and custody papers, if applicable, to register your child.
Students entering kindergarten are required to have several booster vaccines prior to the start of the school year. Making appointments to get immunizations done now is encouraged.
