If you have always felt we need more jobs in Coshocton, then you are in luck. In a collaboration between Coshocton County Ohio Means Jobs, the Coshocton Chamber of Commerce and the Coshocton County Port Authority, a new website JobsInCoshocton.com has been created. This new website has been designed to target young people in and around Coshocton County.

“We know we have incredibly talented young people from Coshocton County,” said Executive Director of the Coshocton County Port Authority Tiffany Swigert. “This website is designed to let them know there are some great opportunities here if they want to stay.”

JobsInCoshocton.com was created after Ohio Means Jobs Coshocton County, was allocated/awarded a business outreach grant. The goal for the grant is to assist Coshocton County Businesses in expanding their workforce needs.

“This grant not only helps employers attract amazing employees,” says Ohio Means Jobs Business Coordinator Shanna Stanton. “It also helps our young people know about the many great jobs and internships that are available right here.”

The site has been designed with 17–24-year-olds in mind, so it’s been designed for mobile use. The site includes internship opportunities, entry level jobs and even tips on resume writing. And the collaboration on the site is just another example of organizations working together to create a common positive goal for Coshocton County.

“It’s been exciting to work hand in hand with other organizations to move Coshocton County forward,” said Coshocton County Chamber Director Amy Crown. “We have been able to do more together, and it’s been good for the community.”
