Coshocton County 4-H Fun Fest planned
An exciting afternoon is being planned for Sunday, April 3, at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. A 4-H Fun Fest will be held from 2-5 p.m. that is open to new and current members of 4-H.
According to D. Woodward Wells, an event coordinator, “We are wanting to show the youth of our community all the interesting areas that 4-H offers. 4-H is not just livestock. 4-H is anything from animal science to cooking, fishing, insects and robotics. Even welding. 4-H offers so many life skills, friendships and even offers scholarships.”
The Fun Fest will have current members available to talk about their experience in 4-H and what they have learned. Information will be available about all of the opportunities 4-H can offer. There will be a petting zoo, archery trailer, face painting, door prizes and food.
4-H project age is 8-years-old and in third grade as of Jan. 1, 2022. Anyone who brings one of the event flyers with them will be entered into a drawing to win four movie tickets.
“4-H is for all youth and we would like to invite everyone to come see us and let us help you find the project for you. 4-H is the greatest adventure,” said Woodward Wells.
