Hershberger charged with gross sexual imposition
On March 31, 2022 the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation into a possible sexual assault case. After an in-depth investigation, a male suspect was taken into custody on April 2, 2022.
On April 4, 2022 John D. Hershberger was officially charged with one count of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree. Further charges are expected after further review of the case. Assisting with this case was the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office and the Coshocton County Children Services.
