Alice Marie (Crowthers) Ross

Alice Marie (Crowthers) Ross, 89, formerly of Coshocton, died Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Lafayette Pointe.

She was born Oct. 22, 1932 in Coshocton to the late Claude and Lena (Laflin) Crowthers. She was an aid at the former Rivers Crossing Nursing Home, and a member of the Coshocton Moose Lodge.

Alice enjoyed knitting, puzzles, and watching TV, especially Westerns.

She is survived by a daughter, Lena (James) Chapman of Mt. Vernon; a son, Kenny (Tina) Moran of Coshocton; grandchildren, David Moran, Kaden Moran, Alyssa Moran, and Audriana Moran, all of Coshocton, Dominique Taylor of Virginia, Debra Hodges and Ronald Rahn of Mt. Vernon, and Phillip Painting of Carrollton; six great-grandchildren; and a niece, Ruth Parks of Coshocton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husbands, Kenneth H. Moran and Finley Ross; three brothers, Francis, Dick, and Bert Crowthers; and two sisters, Mable Fogelsong and Hasel Means.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Perry Twp. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
