Historic Roscoe Village participates in Ohio Tourism Day
Summer is just around the corner, and everyone is ready to travel.
To help spur tourism in Coshocton, Historic Roscoe Village partnered with Ohio. Find It Here, and joined nearly 100 other attractions from across the state for the 2022 Ohio Tourism Day, held on May 11 at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus. About 1,000 people, looking to make summer plans, attended the event.
Every year, Ohio Tourism Day celebrates Ohio’s tourism industry and provides the opportunity for consumers to plan their Ohio vacations while visiting with tourism destinations and attractions throughout the state. Historic Roscoe Village set up a display and talked to potential visitors that were eager to learn more about all the exciting things to do in the area.
“Our time at Ohio Tourism Day made us more aware of the positive impact of tourism in Coshocton County and the importance of teaching and telling our story” said Casey Brown, director of business operations. “Our team met with dozens of potential first-time visitors as well as individuals and families who plan to take a trip to Historic Roscoe Village, but also spend time at nearby restaurants, retailers, hotels and other attractions.”
Historic Roscoe Village is open year-round, seven-days a week, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.roscoevillage.com.
Ohio. Find It Here has a website, Ohio.org, and an annual travel guide that both provide information about attractions, events and destinations all around Ohio, not to mention inspiration for planning day trips, weekend getaways and long vacations in all regions of the state.
