Accident reported in Millcreek Township

On May 30, 2022 at approximately 5:55 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call advising of a one-vehicle accident with injuries on TR 21 in Millcreek Township.

Upon arrival of deputies it was determined that Roger Rice (54) of Shreve was driving a Can-Am four- wheeler south on TR 21. Rice lost control on the gravel road and went off the right side of the roadway. Rice struck a road sign and up and embankment. This caused Rice to be ejected from the four-wheeler and the four-wheeler rolled over. Rice was flown from the scene by Med Flight to Akron General Hospital with unknown injuries. This accident remains under investigation.

Assisting the sheriff’s office at the scene was Med Flight, Coshocton County EMS, Three Rivers Fire District and Princes Wrecker Service.
