Kenneth ‘Ron’ Snoots

Kenneth “Ron” Snoots, 74, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his home with his family. He was born on July 1, 1947, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late William Lane and Betty (Reitler) Snoots. He was a 1965 graduate of John Glenn High School. In 1966, he joined the United States Army and served until 1969. Ron then went to work for GE until he began his truck driving career. He worked for several trucking companies until his retirement. He had a passion for driving, especially his Corvette. On April 20, 1974, he married Judith (Buck) Snoots, who survives. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing.  He was an avid bowler for many years and after retirement he took up golfing.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, W. Todd (Jessica) Snoots and Alan Zeiner; grandchildren, Kameron McFarland and Wyatt and Gavin Zeiner; brother, Thomas (Cinda) Snoots as well as several cousins and nieces and nephews, who were all special to him.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at the Miller Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at the Miller Funeral Home on Saturday at 1pm with Pastor Mike Jansen officiating. The Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will be performing military honors at the funeral home.

A cremation will take place after the funeral services and burial will take place at the Otsego Baptist Cemetery is Otsego, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ron’s name to the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard at 318 Main Street, Coshocton, Oh 43812 or the charity of your choice.

The Snoots family gratefully acknowledges Hospice Long Term Care of Coshocton and their staff for their wonderful care and support during Ron’s illness.
