Mary Martha Babcock

Mary Martha Babcock, 84, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. She was born in Guernsey County, Ohio on Oct. 9, 1937, to the late Leland and Glenna (Gibson) Watson.

Martha Graduated from New Concord High School in 1955 and was employed by the Coshocton County Recorders office for 20 years before retiring.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outside, working, and spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her two sons, Carl (Kimberley) Babcock of West Lafayette and Brett (Dani) Babcock of Conesville; grandchildren, Hannah (Corey) Ridenbaugh, Kyle (Amy), Kody (Jennifer), Blake, and Liam Babcock, and Cona Thorpe; great-grandchildren, Logan Ridenbaugh, Olivia, Cooper, Kennedy, Taylor and Brooks Babcock, Blayten Young, and Karson and Londyn McPeak; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Fox, Charles (Mary Lou) Babcock, Don Green, Nettie Grace Watson, and Kay (Carl) Chrisman; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Babcock, who she married Jan. 4, 1958; and siblings, Lena Claypool, Sara Fox, Carolyn Green, Glenn, Roy, Kenneth, Clyde, Dean, and Richard Watson.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services for Martha will be Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sam Brown and Larry Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
