On Oct. 6, 2021, Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office SVU (Special Victims Unit) began an investigation involving a juvenile. On June 27, 2022, detectives took custody of 41-year-old Elizabeth R. Walser of Warsaw, Ohio. On June 29, 2022, Elizabeth R. Walser was formally charged with rape, a first degree felony.
Assisting with the investigation is the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office and Coshocton County Job and Family Services.
