Festival planned at fairgrounds

A new event is coming to Coshocton Friday through Sunday, July 22-24. Rock Coshocton is a motor and music festival that is being sponsored by the Coshocton County Fairboard and Twisted Image Cycles. The festival will be held at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds.

On Friday, gates will open at 2 p.m. and the motor part of the day will be auto cross with mini bikes. Music for that evening will be Piss N Vinegar and Common Vice.

Saturday, the gates will open at 9 a.m. Events for that day will include obstacle course, mud pit, mini bikes and the Rock Coshocton Motor Show, featuring cars, trucks, jeeps, UTVs and motorcycles. Cold Gin – Kiss, Nightrain – Guns & Roses, Charlie Bonnet II and Smilo & the Ghost will be the music for the day.

Gates open at 10 a.m. on Sunday with events including an obstacle course, UTV drag racing and UTV rodeo. The Mud Jam will also be that day.

Admission to the festival is Friday – $10, Saturday – $35 and Sunday – $10. Pre-sale tickets are available until Monday, July 18 for $35 for the whole weekend. Some events require registration and additional costs. Camping is also available by calling 740-622-2385.

Tickets can be purchased at coshoctoncountyfair.ticketleap.com/rock-coshocton/. Admission can also be purchased at the gate. Food and vendors will be on the fairgrounds all weekend.
