Farm Bureau recognizes several at annual meeting

The Coshocton County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting at Schumaker Farms on Monday evening, July 25 with a catered meal of meatballs, cheesy potatoes, salad, corn on the cob, rolls, beverages and cookies.
Kayla Durbin, current president of the Coshocton County Farm Bureau, called the meeting to order following dinner and asked members to vote on board members, OFBF attendance and support for several policies. The minutes from the 2021 annual meeting were approved by all members in attendance and the financial report was presented by Treasurer Bob Buxton and approved by members in attendance.
Buxton was recognized as the distinguished member and received a plaque for his many years of service to the Coshocton County Farm Bureau.
Recipients of the 2022 Coshocton County Farm Bureau scholarships were also recognized. They are: Elizabeth Porteus, Hayden Shook, Cannon Waters, and Kristina Scheurman.
Upcoming events announced at the dinner were First Farm Friday in downtown Coshocton, Aug. 5, Dinner on the Farm, Saturday, Aug. 27, canoe float, Saturday, Sept. 10 and square dance on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Current board members are Kayla Durbin, president, Jenna Gregorich, vice-president, Jandi Adams, Bob Buxton, Tyler Cline, Kyle Daugherty, Todd Endsley, Debby Frye, Paige Gott, Ashley Phillips, Cathy Williamson and Mary Wright.
