Rosalie Sambuco

Rosalie Sambuco, 79, of Coshocton passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on July 28, 1943 to the late Robert and Edna (Loeffler) Mills Sr.

Rosalie graduated from Martins Ferry High School and Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in education.  She was a schoolteacher for Whitehall City Schools for almost 18 years before retiring. She loved her career, reading, flowers and most importantly her family.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Sambuco, who she married December 19, 1964; children Donald (Amanda) Sambuco and Kristi (Brian) Oravec; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Ruth Ellen Auker; lifelong friends Rosalee Christy and Ada Jane Maderia; her fur babies; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Robert Mills Jr.

Per Rosalie’s wishes a cremation will take place and there will no services at this time.  The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
