Friends of the livestock auction seeks donations
The Friends of the Coshocton County Jr. Fair Livestock Auction committee is accepting donations for the 2022 Coshocton County Jr. Fair Livestock Auction.This is a great way to help for those who have not been involved as buyers in recent years, want to support the auction but are not comfortable or not able to bid in person, or those who participated in junior fair events in the past that would like a way give back to the current group of youth.
Last year the group collected more $10,000 and was able to help 55 youth during the auction or after the auction through add-ons. The funds donated to the buyer pool are used to bid, or add-on to bids for the junior fair livestock auction. Animals that look to be sold at lower than average price for the sale are the focus.
Contributors to this fund will be listed after the fair in local media outlets. Checks can be made payable to Friends of the Coshocton County Jr. Fair Livestock Auction. Mail donations to Carol Hadrosky, 603 South 13th St., Coshocton OH 43812. Donations for this year need to be received by Thursday, Sept. 29.
