Harvey K. Lipps

Harvey Kent Lipps, 74, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at his residence.

He was born Feb. 16, 1948 in Weston, WV to the late Roscoe Harvey Lipps and Juanita Lucille (Francis) Marks. He was a proud Veteran, having served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1967-1970. He married Sandra Sue (Shetler) Lipps on Dec. 18, 1999, who preceded him in death Aug. 6, 2008.

Lovingly known as “Pappy” to his family, he was a devoted grandfather. He never met a stranger, and enjoyed his time as a member of the American Legion. He was an avid Ohio State fan and loved watching NASCAR.

He is survived by a daughter, Samantha (Shane) Guilliams of Warsaw; son, Alan (Amber) Lipps of Magnolia, TX; grandchildren, Tyler (Jared) Reigle, Ethan (Claire) Guilliams, & Gavin Guilliams, all of Warsaw, Michael (Chelsea) Barger of Colorado Springs, CO, Chad (Natasha) Barger of Coshocton, Eddie (Tori) Barger of Alliance, Austin Davis of Tiffin, and Mackenzey, Arron, Jeremiah, & Kylee Lipps and Kloe Lynch, all of Magnolia, TX; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Roscoe L. (Brenda) Lipps of Fort Worth, TX, Johnnie I. (Pamela) Marks & Carl D. Marks, both of Pennsboro, PA, and Gene T. Marks of West Union, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Harvey K. Lipps, Jr.; a grandson, Bryce E. Guilliams; a great-grandson, Meyer E. Reigle; and a brother, Jackie D. Lipps.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Jerry Francis officiating. Military honors will follow by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard. Visitation is from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Private burial will take place at Valley View Cemetery, Warsaw. www.fischerfuneralhome.com.
