CHS fall athletes recognized
Several Coshocton High School athletes were recognized for their achievements during the fall sports season.
Football awards went to: Michael Walters, MVL First Team; Cadin Whitus, MVL First Team; Antwone Johns, MVL First Team, East District First Team, Division 5 All-Ohio Honorable Mention.
Boys soccer players honored were: Skyler Dobson, MVL First Team, MVL Co-Midfielder of the Year; Kabe Bylaw, MVL First Team, East District First Team, school record – 38 saves in a game. The boys soccer team also set a school record with 18 goals scored in a single game.
Girls soccer players receiving honors were: Isabelle Lauvray, MVL First Team, East District First Team; Cammy Wilson, MVL First Team; Hailey Helter, MVL First Team, Academic All-Ohio; Destiny Frye, school record – 61 career saves, Academic All-Ohio; Myrakle Johnson, Academic All-Ohio; Ella Baylor, Academic All-Ohio.
Volleyball players celebrated were: Miyah Davis, MVL First Team, MVL Defensive Player of the Year, District 5 First Team, school record – 1,402 digs; Jalynn West, MVL First Team, District 5 First Team, Division 2 All-Ohio Second Team; school records – 58 assists in a match, 857 season assists, 2,888 career assists, 173 career aces; Lyndsay Bryant, MVL First Team, District 5 First Team, school records – 13 aces in a match, 853 career kills. The volleyball team also set a school record with 1,017 kills.
