John Allen Jackson aka ‘Jack Tanner’
John Allen Jackson aka “Jack Tanner”, 81, of West Lafayette, passed away on January 4, 2023, in Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1941 in Coshocton to the late Ruby Anne (Kiser) and Harry O. Jackson. He was a West Lafayette High School graduate in the class of 1960.
He lived and loved most of his adult life on the West Coast pursuing his career in the movie industry, where he met his wife, Gail Brenda (Gerber) Jackson. They shared 36 years of a beautiful, loving life. He enjoyed adventures in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and soaking in the beauty of nature. He was an expert in repairing fine watches and had a mind for fixing things. He truly was a Jack of all trades.
In addition to his wife, Gail, he is survived by his stepdaughter, Marla (Art) Carrette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Lee Jackson.
