June E. Light
June E. Light, age 93, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was born on June 9, 1929 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late James and Blanche (Moore) Lee.
After graduating from High School, June married Robert Wayne Light on December 28, 1947.
June was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She volunteered for the Pink Ladies at the Coshocton Hospital for many years as well as working at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum in Roscoe and the Coshocton County Board of Elections. She enjoyed working with TOPS and had a wonderful Kola Bear collection.
She is survived by her three loving children, Judee (Dave) Erwin, Wayne (Cindy) Light and Ruth (Hayden) Daliere; seven grandchildren, Rob (Bethany) Parsons, Heather (Mark) Wright, Brandon Light, Kyle Light, Brooke (Chad) Alverson, Jaeanna Spaulding, and Trey (Jodi) Shrimplin; 15 Great-Grandchildren, five great-great- grandchildren; and a special nephew, Tom Ellis.
Along with her parents and husband of 47 years, Robert Wayne Light, who passed away on July 19, 1994, June is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Dawne Kaib, two brothers, six sisters and one sister-in-law, Barbara Jane Light.
Calling will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11: 00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
